The Gaslight Anthem live at the Garage, Glasgow

Right, so here I am. Back for another installment of my interesting and exciting life (yea, right!). So this was wednesday night on the 3rd of Dec. My mate Dave asked me to procure tickets to a band I have never heard of before called the Gaslight Anthem. So I figured "What the heck?". I had nothing planned so I bought the tickets online for about 16pounds (wanted to find the sign but couldn't so I wrote "pounds"...hah!). So anyway, the place where they were playing was called the Garage which on most nights is a club, I think. So, we headed to Garage at about quarter past 7 and up the stairs we went to watch the Gaslight Anthem and the bands supporting them...

Up the stairs after the customary pat-downs by security

There's actually another bar to left of the bar (ur left!)
Growing fond of Millers and Fosters...not so much Carlsberg or Heineken

I'm assuming that's the DJ console during clubbing nights. Awesome stuff.

First band on show. I should know the name of the band but I can't remember and I don't really care.

Shining brightly as they rock on...

Loads of people were into them but I just don't get music when I can't hear what the hell they're singing. I mean what's the point in lyrics when the music drowns everything out?

(P.S. I think that's an awesome name for a band!)

Lead Singer

Lead Guitarist?
Drummer (Duh! :D)

They were good...liked some of their songs but didn't know them beforehand so kinda missed out on the proper experience.

The above are 2 of the songs played. The 2nd one was the encore they played. Personally, I prefer the first one better.
Was supposed to have a presentation today for my Psych class BUT...the tutor didn't show up. We'll probably do it another day so more waitings in store. Still have yet to receive any of my essays back..due to bad luck and some delays so next week will be when we get everything back. Been feeling abit pudgy so it's high time to hit the gym. I'll get pictures up of what my flatmates did to the kitchen to give it that christmasy feeling. It's less than a week before my parents get here and we head off for our holiday at my aunt's place. Of course, the end-of-year trip to Berlin and Paris is eagerly anticipated too! Haha...then the new year beckons and it all begins all over again. It's all coming along nicely...Have u been naughty or nice this year? :D
