And we met a star...

Tonight, Damus, Angel, my sis and I were invited to the graduation ceremony of a singapore pianist named Jessica. It's the first time I've known her so forgive me if I can't give you much more details than that. Apparently, she's got a child in singapore whose staying with her husband while she's here completing her masters...I think. Ooppss. Anyway, she was awarded a distinction in her title so that was pretty awesome on her part. Haha, couldn't hear the announcer properly..my bad. Anyway, here's a picture of her. She's looks younger than her years though...which I'm not going to reveal. Not very nice to do so...

It was a very lovely ceremony with a lot of good laughs. They were honouring different people for honourary degrees and fellowships and each one had a sponsor to say something good about the person. Some of them were pretty funny and one even came up with a song! And as an added bonus, Lord Richard Attenborough and James McAvoy were being honoured as well! We were so surprised when we recognised them from our seats. But first, here are some pictures of the ceremony...

Haha, I'm glad we had the guts to go up to him to ask for one cuz there were alot of other people as well and he had to rush off somewhere to give a speech. How can he say no to his fans? Haha...Too bad I didn't get one with Lord Richard Attenborough though. Oh well, shall settle for this then. Now that I'm done with all my essays for the term until the exams come round, it's a load of my shoulders. Can't wait to get them back and see how I've done. Hard to see me failing and the grades I get this year don't count towards my honours so no need to worry. Just learn and improve every time. Off to bed then...there's a class later today and Heroes to watch...haha. Cya!!
