Trust in yourself

Ben & Jerry's at the Grand Cathay was the destination last night. My friend Helman was putting in a performance with his friends. Not to mention it was a nice place juz to sit and relax with ice-cream. Before I ramble on, here are some pictures:

Helman and his friends

Juz the three of them

This was half-eaten ice-cream (Vanilla, Chunky Monkey & Mango Sorbet)

Star of the night

Well, that's the superstar in profile, kinda looks like another superstar as well:

Haha, bet he won't like that much. So anyway, we went to watch Kung Fu Panda after Helman finished his shift at Ben & Jerry's. We managed to get the best cinema in the place: the Grand Cathay itself. Haha..must say I was pretty impressed with the sound system and the plush seats. Kung Fu Panda was great as well...so much for the critics saying it's only for the kids. Definitely worth watching IMHO.

Something my wise friend juz showed me has got me thinking. What you say or do may disappoint someone else, but is it worth compromising who u truly are to keep everything bottled inside instead of saying what u feel? Should we live with the worry that what we say or do may offend that person next to us? How do we strike that balance between being courteous and having an voice and opinions? Have u even considered it before?

Personally, I feel that life is all about striking a balance. I've always had trouble telling the people i care abt the things I really feel that I think will affect the way they think of me. The thought that sth I said or did on purpose caused someone hurt scares me all the time. But how can I be honest with someone if what I say may drive them further away? Aarrgghh...I hate this. It's easy to say, so hard to do.

If I have succesfully suck you into a slump, I apologize (damn i did it again!). Haha, juz kidding. Work tml again. Not gonna get my pay for May until July. Hopefully, they dun forget my pay for April. Carry on, I say. Bye.
