Night out at King Tut

Last weekend was a stayover at my aunt's place again. Man, the food was fantastic as usual. Can't get enough of the place. Really yummy stuff that I would be unable to conjure up myself. Because my sis wanted to complete her essay before leaving, we left on sat morning itself. Haven't woken up so early since I've been here to be honest. Anyway, breakfast was a chicken and bacon sandwich from Costa and a banana chocolate drink which was soo good! Haha..

This was dinner the previous night on friday. Decided to try using carbonara sauce so instead of minced meat, i used some leftover bacon and crabmeat (which didn't work that well)as well as some veges I had.
Right, after I came back from my aunt's place, it was time to get down to completing my essays which are due at the end of the week. It's been a while since I've actually had to do some writing and I must say, the thought processes are still a tad rusty. Anyway, I completed the first one this afternoon but after doing about 3/4 of it last night, I went out with my flatmates to watch some bands live in action. Well, Dave's cousin was opening for them and we wanted to catch him in action but we got there too late. We did manage to catch the final two songs though. Here are some snaps...The next band that were playing were shite. Couldn't hear the singer at all and the music wasn't that...inspired. Anyway, this was the 3rd band playing. I could have sworn they were from the States but Dave said they were supposed to be German. Kinda weird cuz they had some sort of country accent and their style of music was sort of a blend between country and rock 'n' roll. Haha..was pretty catchy. They were class, as my mate Dave would say.

Right, I better get on with my essay. Got to finish it soon...loads of research to do as well. Can't wait till they are all done.
