Batman and Joker's Day of Fun!!!

It was a quiet sunny Saturday in the city of Got-Ham...2 enemies locked in a titanic battle for the soul of the city decided to relak one corner and try something new. Meeting in a neutral location (Robin's nest) to discuss their itinerary, they decided to go to some hand-bell ringing concert thing. But how long before the peace would be broken?

Raise your hands if you don't want to be left behind

After the mini-concert, they were hungry and had a craving for Jap food, especially Ramen. Thus, they decided to make the trek from Bugis to Suntec City. Under the hot sun, coupled with the Bat suit and the face paint, both Batman and Joker were dehydrated and took cover at a Starbucks.

Caramel Frappuccino anyone?

Having satisfied their thirst, their attention was directed towards searching for some hearty sustenence. Deciding to go oriental, they landed in the land of the rising sun and scary red-skin demons with really bushy eyebrows. Batman only had the 1 chilli and had to endure taunts from the Joker as he had the 2 chilli ramen. "Why so ham ji?"

After filling their tummies, it was time for dessert. So far, both Batman and Joker were pretty well behaved. So as a reward, they were treated to some BJs. You know...Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. They couldn't share so they got 4 flavours to share...

After satisfying their sweet tooth, it was time to explore their new surroundings. 1st stop: Hair products at Carrefour.

Who wants some Gel Douche?

Moving along, Batman found numerous products endorsing his trademarked name. Assembling them together in an attempt to boost his ego, he then proceeded to take a group shot, very much like a cam-whore. Full line-up: Shampoo & Conditioner Batman, Shower Gel Batman, Batmantm, Body Powder Batman and Spray Cologne Batman.

Annoyed that Batman was ignoring him, Joker grew jealous and, in an attempt to become the center of attention, trashed the product placement ad this blog has unwittingly become a part of. Here, he is standing triumphantly after simply knocking down the products. Not one of his devious nor ingenious plans but it serves it's purpose...

Whose your daddy?

This, of course, angered Batman and the resulting tussle wasn't pretty so I'll spare you the pictures of that gruesome fight. You can check out a short clip of it. I believe it's showing in the cinemas titled the Dark Knight. As punishment, they were grounded in the refrigerator to cool down and to reflect on their actions before they were allowed to carry on with the outing.

After some dubious bonding in the refrigerator, it was time for more shopping/look-see. Making our way up to the 2nd floor of Carrefour, we hit the accessories department. This got both of them excited because Batman was looking to accessorize his Bat suit while Joker was looking for something nice to go with his purple suit.

After a long day of shopping and hanging out, the Batman and Joker were so besotted with Jasmine that they hitched a ride in her purse together with a new friend, Winnie the Pooh. However, due to his limited intelligence and obsession with Honey quickly put an end to their friendship. He was last seen being attached to a long phallic shaped object and blasted off to the moon. Exhausted by the trip, Batman and Joker decided to chill out in front of the TV and lo and behold, FRIENDS was on. Reckon it's one the all time best series EVER!!! Totally psyched to be watching FRIENDS, they then took a picture with Dr Ross, PhD in Paleontology.

They're probably now enjoying themselves at Jasmine's place. And that concludes Batman and Joker's Day of Fun. I hope you enjoyed yourself too even if you weren't able to join us that day. Will have to see how well this does at the Blog office before considering to do a sequel.

Hah! I'm nursing a headache now...feeling damn tired. My apologies. I took a long time for this post..ever since Monday. Didn't have any inclination to blog. On the bright side, it's already Thursday. Tomorrow's Friday...another weekend coming up. Yay! Cya...
