At this moment in time, I'm unsure abt the direction I want to go with my blog. Should I juz pour out what I feel and hope ppl reading it don't get offended? Or should I juz blog abt my days and happenings? Or perhaps get a little philosophical? Haha...choices choices. For now, I think I'll juz write abt what's going on in my life, with a little sth now and then to get u thinking.
Yesterday was dinner at Holland V with the usual bunch of people who go under the name Roadblock 7 (aka RB7 for future references). Explanations for the uninitated at a later date. Amy and I had a very productive walk around Holland V while waiting for the Toh Guans to make their way down. By productive, I mean we managed to waste almost 20 mins..mebbe. Anyway, We decided to eat at Breko since getting them to decide would require several hours and a committee since the fav thing to say is "ANYTHING". Damn..I have a love-hate relationship with that word. Word of caution: If u say it to me, u better mean it..dun say u dun like what the choice is once everything is decided. Alright, after sidetracking, dinner was bad at Breko. The tables were small, service was quite slow as Danny had to wait almost 30-40 mins for his medium steak and the food wasn't that good either. Mebbe I'm being picky but I dun like my mashed potatoes to be sticky. Creamy (yes)...sticky (no). Haha...But that's juz me. Amy, Danny, Hui ee, Joanne and me had dinner while Jasmine and Helman joined us around 8 for ice cream. Had the ice cream at NYDC while I felt bad for the waiters there cuz they were short-staffed and had to run round constantly. Ice-cream was good...nth much to talk abt. At that point in time, we were getting bored waiting for May who was actually the reason we went down in the first place. If u're reading this (May), dun get angry k? Not blaming u...but the timings u told me were totally off.
After that, we decided to head off to Orchard to catch a late night movie as we were bored and didn't feel like spending more money on drinks. And what do we decide to watch: Sex and the City! Haha...a fine chick flick which I'm not ashamed to say I enjoyed. Thought some parts were overly-dramatic but hey, it's entertainment. Gotta say the girls were happy checking out the handsome male actor playing Dante...If only....hahaha. After that was back home to bed with memories about another adventure in our lives..catching up with old friends and enjoying each other's company. Gonna miss Helman and Danny when service to Singapore calls. Shaved heads, trekking in the jungles, bellowing sergeants and wayang recruits will be occupying their lives rather than making fun of Joanne, pushing me into bushes, and generally annoying the hell out of each other. But of course, we wish them the best of luck and know that we'll always be around if u know where to look...
Don't be sad the good times are over, but rather be glad they happened....
That's all for this edition. Gotta stay tuned for more updates...gonna be heading to check out Helman's performance at Ben & Jerry's later tonight at the Grand Cathay. Will post pics if I rmb to birng my cam (cross fingers and hope). See you around.
